ABOUT THE ARTIST
I’m Dan, the illustrator behind A Star Is Drawn. I’ve been drawing since I was a kid, but it wasn’t until I discovered digital illustration that I really found my style. I started drawing characters from the shows, films, and stories that brought me comfort, and over time it grew into something more than just a hobby.
I built this shop to share that feeling. Whether a character makes you feel safe, a show helped you through a hard time, or you simply love film, TV, music, and pop culture, I’m really glad you’re here. If my art brings even a little comfort, joy, or nostalgia into your space, then it means more than I can explain.
THE DIFFERENCE
Each piece is created one illustration at a time, with care and attention to detail. Everything starts with an original drawing, shaped by the stories and characters that inspire it. I put a lot of care into the small details that bring each design together. The aim is simple, to create something you’ll genuinely want to keep in your space.
